Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) Updates

Given the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Certified Employment Group is working to continue to provide the best service possible to our employees and clients during this Covid-19 crisis and we want to stay in touch and keep our employees informed of any changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Important Information About FFCRA Notice

On April 1, 2020, the U.S. Department of Labor announced new action regarding how American workers and employers will benefit from the protections and relief offered by the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act and Emergency Family and Medical Leave Expansion Act, both part of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act.

The FFCRA Act requires certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. For details on employee rights under the FFCRA, click here (PDF). These provisions will apply from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020. For additional details regarding the FFCRA Notice, we have also included a link to the Department of Labor website.

To request leave on the basis of the FFCRA, please complete the leave of absense request form and submit via email or fax to your Certified representative.
