Because you are charged a month in advance before your coverage takes effect, you will see the updated MEC rates in your monthly deductions.

medical coverage. Lack of major medical coverage (or other minimum essential coverage) may result in an additional payment with your taxes.
The MEC Wellness/Preventive Plan is a self-funded plan that has been deemed to be in compliance with ACA rules and regulations.
